•  About lysine Succinylation

Succinylation was recently discovered as a novel reversible protein post-translational modification on lysine. Furthermore, it was found that sirtuin 5 could function as the desuccinylase. Although the detailed mechanisms and functional roles remain unclear, it was proposed that succinylation was implicated in cellular metabolism.
