Functional Description
 Involved in the detoxification of xenobiotics and in the activation of ester and amide prodrugs. Hydrolyzes omicron- nitrophenyl acetate and alpha-naphthyl acetate. It also hydrolyzes acetanilide and, distinctively, palmitoyl-CoA.
