Functional Description
 Histone methyltransferase. Methylates 'Lys-79' of histone H3. Required for Polycomb Group (PcG) and trithorax Group (trxG) maintenance of expression. Also involved in telomeric silencing but do not in centric heterochromatin. Probably participates in pairing sensitivity.
