Functional Description
 NADPH-dependent aldehyde reductase involved in the detoxification of aldehyde inhibitors derived from lignocellulosic biomass conversion. Reduces commonly detected inhibitors in biomass conversion hydrolysates such as furfural, 5- hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), cinnamic aldehyde, benzaldehyde, phenylacetaldehyde, and anisaldehyde.
