Functional Description | Cytochromes P450 are a group of heme-thiolate monooxygenases. This enzyme requires molecular oxygen and NADPH. Isoform CYP4F3A catalyzes the omega-hydroxylation of LTB4, a potent chemoattractant for polymorphonuclear leukocytes, it has low activity for arachidonic acid. |
