Functional Description
 This magnesium-dependent enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the transport of the calcium. Transports calcium ions from the cytosol into the sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Contributes to calcium sequestration involved in muscular excitation/contraction.
